Dannii Minogue’s Dress Line to launch next week!

If you believe in karma, just a glance at Dannii Minogue’s achievements this past few months will reassure you that you’re on the right track. Despite inhabiting the bitchy back-biting world of TV talent shows, we hardly ever hear a mean comment escape her lips, and maybe that’s why everything seems to be falling into place for her now.

All series long of the X Factor we saw her hold her fashion own against Cheryl and even topple her in the weekly fash-off. She defied all established hair-care wisdom with a radically different ‘do each week, then topped the whole year off by announcing her excitement about falling pregnant. Hurrah!

Then, the rumour mill put it about that she’s bagged a modelling contract with M&S and now everyone’s on tenterhooks to see what her first effort as a designer will bring.

She’s collaborating with her friend Tabitha Somerset Webb, creator of lush leather handbags, which are luxuriously crafted and fall somewhere between High St and high-end in price. Previously the label hasn’t expanded into anything more flash than a leather notebook and we’ve heard that Miss Minogue has been involved heavily in the concept and design of a dress collection.

We can’t wait to see what she’s come up with . . . and based on the fab frock she aired at the National TV Awards this week, we think the fashion prognosis is looking very good.
