Gentlemen, please! The usually refined world of haute couture got a little more rowdy this week as two major players fell out over clashing show schedules for the catwalk presentations in Paris next week.
Giorgio Armani’s Privé show presentation on Monday was scheduled to start at 7.30pm, but has had to be delayed until 9pm, because the house of Dior changed the timeslot for its own show.
The usually terribly reserved Signor Armani released a brusque statement calling Dior's rescheduling 'unexpected and unjustifiable… indicative of a lack of respect for other people’s time and labour'.
So far, Dior have yet to respond…
