When Grazia Daily bumped into Victoria Beckham at the British Fashion Awards last month, one of the questions we wanted the answer to was, 'Would David ever bring out a fashion collection?'
Mrs B dismissed the idea with a barely contained smirk, telling us, ‘David has a line he works on with a designer in America – that’s for Adidas. David loves fashion, he loves clothes, but to be a designer is not something he wants to do. I think he’s got enough on his plate at the moment, but never say never!’
Never say never indeed! Seems that mysterious smirk was less of a sneer and more about disguising a little secret – because rumours are now circulating on the web that David is set to design a menswear line for … Victoria’s own label!
We think the sharp Victoria Beckham tailoring and sexy retro chic will translate brilliantly into menswear (we’re thinking Don Draper slim-fit styles and those very-David tweed three-piece suits).
Of course, Mr Beckham’s sense of style is easily a match for that of his missus. Just one thing - we always thought it was Victoria dressing David? Hmmm…..
