Our very own Alexa Chung swapped London for New York this year and found her fashion groove like never before. Here’s a year in the wardrobe of Ms.Chung….

January: Pretty and oh so fresh! Alexa’s striped cardie adds some punch to her softly tailored playsuit. Her ankle socks and peep-toes teamed with beautiful Luella bag make for very girly styling indeed.

February: Sequins are in and so is Alexa who shows how to do red-carpet dressing the effortless way at the Brit Awards. Perfect for her neat frame, the dagged hem and turned up sleeves evoke a rock chick vibe, gorgeous bag but scary scuffed shoes. (Admire from the ankles up).

March: Its Paris Fashion week and that can only mean one thing…Louis Vuitton!! All in black except some killer accessories…the run-way shoes every fashion ed would give her right arm for in fact!

April: Another red carpet triumph at the BAFTAs where Alexa wore a rocking brocade Luella dress and shoes by Georgina Goodman for Luella. Her cat bag is a fun touch at a formal occasion. Bravo.

May: Beautiful in Burberry, Alexa’s grey tonal look is so on elegant and very on trend. Hot styling tip: match the hemline of an oversized Boyfriend jacket and mini dress. Fabulous ankle boots too.

June: Metallic loafers on the red, sorry blue carpet…there’s a fashion first. A clunky choice for such an elegant dress but Alexa pulls it off…her Chanel bag collection grows some more and so does our envy!

July: Alexa’s demure dress (note the longer hemline for the queen of the mini) and minimal jewellery makes for one seriously chic look. The natural make-up and up ’do compliment perfectly. We love.

August: Part preppy, part rock-chick, totally gorgeous. Alexa looks hot at a New York premiere with Chanel’s jade nail colour du jour finishing her look nicely.

September: Fashion Week again, this time its London and showing her support Alexa dons a beautiful trench coat with divine collar detail over a black dress and ankle boots. Back-to-school brilliance.

October: Sky blue and black is the perfect eveningwear combo. Alexa’s pushed up sleeves and patent ankle boots add edge to her delicate dress and pretty purse.

November: You know someone’s a fashion pro when they can make denim cut-offs look not only cool but chic too. Alexa’s sharply tailored jacket and opaque tights clean up the frayed hems and casually tied collar detail, whilst her bow shoes are an unexpected and girly finish.

December: Wearing print in winter is a brilliant way to cheer up your wardrobe. Alexa gives her vibrant skirt a nautical twist by teaming it with a gold button cardie…oh and we’d die for those Louis Vuitton shoes. Lucky, lucky girl!
