She’s the sexiest, fiercest, hottest pop diva on the planet and so it seems 2009 was the year Rihanna had every designer worth their salt on speed-dial, from Louis Vuitton to Marchesa, Rihanna had her fingers in every fashion pie for sale. Here’s a year in the wardrobe of Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Ladies, enjoy the catwalk show!
January: 2009 gets off to dazzling start when Rihanna wows at a charity ball in a zingy one shoulder cocktail dress by Jasmine Di Milo.
February: Rihanna adds her rock chick touch to a show-stopping Gucci gown with wonder-woman style cuffs and a bold belt.
March: Motorcycle jeans are the look of the season for skinny styles and Rihanna’s onto it instantly, teaming hers with ’80s style courts and fingerless leather gloves (her signature ’09 accessories). One word: fierce!
April: Arriving in Barbados Rihanna’s nailed the maxi look of the summer by wearing it with a turned up denim jacket, sporty shades and some edgy sandals….oh and a splash of gold!
May: Straight off the runway and onto Rihanna’s back! Louis Vuitton look 41. Head-to-toe, finished off nicely with a glam up ’do and glossy make-up.
June: Rihanna’s embraced the bold shoulder trend like no other this year. Here she adds edge to a A.L.C dress with her Preen jacket.
July: In an Alexander McQueen jumpsuit and Maison Martin Margiela shoes Rihanna rocks another red-carpet corker. The lashing of pearls and co-ordinating red lippy ensure all eyes are on the pop diva.
August: Off-duty dressing the Rihanna way; high-waist harems, printed top, toilet-roll sized hoop earrings and rock-star shades. Cool, very cool.

October: With blonde tips and a fabulous head-piece Rihanna gets dressed up and grown-up at the John Galliano for Christian Dior show, 10 denier tights, elbow length gloves SO fashion SO now!
November: Pulling out all the stops at the American Music Awards Rihanna grabbed the lime-light once again in an avant-garde laser cut gown by Marchesa.
December: Ready for the party season Rihanna works festive favourite combo- black and gleaming gold in an Alexander Vauthier runway look from the S/S collection…a head of the fashion game as ever.
