Just when we’d accepted that Diane Kruger’s 'Inglourious Basterds' fashion parade - which included an LBD (little Balmain dress) and a short ‘n' shoulders Versace Atelier dress - had come to an end, our style crush was back on the red carpet last night with this beauty. The actress gave the crowd a treat when she arrived at the flick’s DVD launch in LA dressed in a Chanel Spring/Summer '10 ivory frock with floral embellishments that drew attention to her tinsy waist. Top marks for those fierce buckled heels and funky monochrome Chanel bag worn across the body to bring a touch of tough yet laid-back cool to her pretty prom dress, and with a red lip to complement those classically waved locks, the result is ultra-glam. So although we admit that Diane’s worked a similar look several times before, we say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Zoe Saldana is fast becoming one fashwan up-and-comer who we’re regularly looking to for an instant style fix. After her show-stopping Roland Mouret gown that oozed A-List glamour at the ‘Avatar’ premiere last week, the actress proved that she also has easy chic nailed. Keeping warm in a snug snood and smart jacket with structured shoulders, Zoe donned elegant ankle-length white jeans that she dressed up with a pair of lady-like black heels for her appearance on the 'Late Show With David Letterman'. Absolute perfection! Also working a casual-yet-smart outfit was Kate Hudson who was continuing her promotional duties for much anticipated flick, ‘NINE’ in New York. A beige blazer and matching flares aren’t often at the top of our shopping lists but Kate rocked the look thanks to the crisp and cutting-edge design of her suit that created a super sleek silhouette, and when teamed with a bright floral blouse, she’s beyond sophisticated. Bravo!
Joining Kate Hudson in New York was the ever-so-elegant actress, Marion Cotillard. We reckon Ms Beckham will be coveting this fabulous frock with flattering pleats and shoulder detailing, and we’re loving the addition of those deep red shoes to ensure the look escapes drab-dom. Also going grey was Marion’s co-star Nicole Kidman in a relaxed look that we’d expect to see on the likes of Kate Moss rather than Mrs Keith Urban. Sexy biker? Check. Casual tee? Yep. Skinny jeans avec zip detailing? Affirmative. So just one question: what’s with those blue, studded, kitten heels eh?! And that frumpy hair do is an instant outfit-killer. Boo. But for today’s final look, we turn our attention to GraziaDaily’s beauty ambassador du jour, Rachel McAdams who chose a slate shade of grey for the World Premiere of "Sherlock Holmes" in Leicester Square. She bravely faced the London chill in an asymmetrical Andrew Gn S/S ‘10 gown with sparkling details on the bodice and a full flowing skirt. It's official - we want to be her...
