Incase you hadn't noticed (because we've only mentioned it like a gazillion times), Team Grazia were at the British Fashion Awards last night to report on the parade of fashion royalty in between drooling over their beyond beautiful eveningwear. But with so many delightful frocks to choose from, we just can't decide who deserves the much coveted Best Dressed crown, so we'll leave the deciding up to you. Check out the contenders below from the night Kate Moss described as "better than Oscars" and let us know who gets your vote...
Victoria Beckham stole the show when she glided across the red carpet in a floor-skimming Morticia Adams-esque gown from her S/S 2010 collection. Those embellished power shoulders are a very on-trend touch and with her Geisha-inspired hair style and sparkling blue rock on her finger, Mrs B looks beyond elegant. Her WAG ways are well and truly gone for good. For some style tips from the lady herself, watch Grazia Daily's chat with Victoria by clicking right here.
Winner of the London 25 award and cream of the fashion crop, Kate Moss was also dressed in a black number with flowing train but the sheer material and polka-dot pattern of her Christian Dior gown provided the quirky twist we love her for. She accented the look with a studded belt and staple tuxedo jacket. Why does Vivienne Westwood think Kate's such a style icon? Find out by watching our video here.
In support of 'her favourite designer of the moment', Claudia Schiffer donned a beautiful printed Peter Pilotto dress from the S/S ‘10 collection. She must be chuffed that the design duo won the Swarovski Emerging Talent Award. When Grazia Daily met the supermodel on the redcarpet, we were dazzled by her vintage gold jewellery, as well as her awesome Roger Vivier clutch and ankle boots. Watch what Claudia had to say about her fabulous school-run outfits in our video below...
Our obsession with Amber Le Bon shows no sign of abating. The model offspring was delighted to get her hands on a Mark Fast dress for the event: 'There’s something quite edgy about [Mark’s dresses] that I quite like and I love the ripped, I’ve-scraped-my-fingers-down-it look,' she told us on the red carpet. Amber wore the sexy minidress under a velvet Topshop jacket which she teamed with fierce grey platforms and a Chanel 2.55 (a birthday present, she tells us). Watch the video below for the model’s top style tip when it comes to wearing velvet!
Twiggy arrived at the awards in support of Stella McCartney, who she remembers holding as a two-month-old baby! The legendary model looked ever-so-elegant in a top-to-toe ensemble by the Brit designer, consisting of a peach camisole under a black tuxedo jacket and lace-sided leggings as seen on Stella recently.
We’re now even more envious of Laura Bailey after she rocked up on the red carpet dressed in a vibrant Roland Mouret frock, which she brought from the designer’s ‘Rainbow Project’ that went on sale on Net-a-Porter only last week. She paired the dress with dark tights to stay snug and a pair of funky platforms for added impact. Check out our video below for Laura’s explanation on her Mini Mouse meets Princess Leia hair do...
Natalia Vodianova was all grown-up in an off-the-shoulder vintage Fortuny dress in an icy blue hue teamed with a beige clutch. What a beauty!
Georgia May Jagger solved the what-should-I-wear dilemma by sneaking into her sister’s house to steal this beautiful white and grey lace Vivienne Westwood dress from Lizzy's wardrobe. We love that they're keeping it in the (very fashionable) family - share and share alike girls! Watch our video here for what the Model of the Year had to say about scooping the coveted accolade.
Wowser! Eva Herzigova chose a daring dress with plunging neckline to show off her svelte figure and by sticking to minimal accessories, the model keeps it classy.
Daisy Lowe also went for a revealing cut-away Vivienne Westwood number from the designer's latest collection and complete with that thigh-flashing panel to reveal a hit of those never-ending legs, it's just the ticket for a splash of sexy.
It seems that floor-length black gowns + flowing trains were the order of the day for the top style icons but the dramatic shoulder detailing on Erin O’Connor dress added a flair of indivduality. Bravo!
Glamming it up was Rosamund Pike in a taupe dress of chiffon layers clinched with a black ribbon. She wrapped up against the cold weather with a fur trimmed black coat.
