Lucie talks us through her style transformation...
'I wore this for my first audition because I wanted to be comfortable and that’s why I chose flats from Office. As for the New Look dress, I didn’t want the judges to think that I was trying to make myself look older or something that I’m not - I just wanted to sing.'
'I loved the shoes I wore for "Diva" week. They were a nude colour so it looked liked the black straps were only on the front of my legs. I also loved the colour of this dress, but a lot of people thought the style was too old for me so we didn’t go for that look again.'
'For Rock Week, the top was actually a leotard which the stylists adapted - the bodice was from Primark and they sewed embellishments on to it then cut it to show off my midriff. My boots, my jeans and my top were from All Saints. This was my favourite outfit.'
'This is a dress from Lipsy which I wore for the premiere of A Christmas Carol in Leicester Square. I saw the dress in a magazine and thought it was gorgeous so contacted my stylist who took me to the store where I tried on loads of outfits. I’ve always had a thing for leather jackets and since Lipsy gave me this one, I wear it all the time. The shoes were really comfy and ideal for walking the red carpet to meet fans.'
'This dress was hand made by Susanne Neville - I went to her shop and she fitted me. They wanted to go for an elegant look for Big Band week and yet still keep it young, which is why they chose to make it elasticated to create the perfect shape and added black straps (which were going to be leather!). I loved this Hollywood glam look and was really pleased with my waved hair.'
'During the dress rehearsal, I wore a pair of Topshop boots and although they were lush, they were much higher so I didn’t feel comfortable. It was important for me to be able to loosen up and just go for it when on stage so I asked for the same All Saints boots I wore for rock week because they're so comfy. I also changed my top because I was originally wearing a Vivienne Westwood one, which was gorgeous but I felt I was putting the outfit "on" and it wasn’t me. I loved wearing the amazing Chanel necklace and the Topshop jacket and jeans. And my poppy!'
