Brangelina design jewellery!

When it comes to celebrities turning to fashion design, we will happily say this is one we did not see coming. Brad and Angelina designing jewellery? Yes, seriously. The Hollywood power couple have created a collection of gold and silver accessories for high-end label Asprey, which will go on sale in their London, New York, Dubai, Tokyo and Beverly Hills stores later this week. Inspired by Angelina’s love of all things serpent-related - she spent days “getting to know” the snakes on set for Alexander - the range is called The Protector and features baby items as well as jewellery such as an egg cup, tooth box and a feeding spoon (well at least it’s a change from the pastel colours, teddy bears and storks…). But, to be honest, we just love the sound of the jewellery (obviously) which will include black diamonds and emerald pavé rings, and we're also pleased to have finally solved the mystery of where Angelina bought her BAFTA arm candy  from.

Prices start at $525 for a baby spoon and all net proceeds from sales will go to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, the charity Ange co-founded in 2006. The Protector range is only available as limited edition, so get it while it’s hot! [WWD]
