Cheryl Watch: Alexander Wang and Richard Nicoll

We don’t know about where you were this weekend, but in London it was all pouring rain and howling winds. So there was nowhere we’d rather be than on the sofa watching X Factor, and passing comment on Cheryl Cole’s wardrobe choices. On Saturday night, she wore an asymmetrical midnight blue sequinned dress by Alexander Wang, with Gina crystal shoes, Stephen Webster bracelet and a ring by Atelier Swarovski. Remember, Cheryl used to live in her Wang denim and leather motorbike jacket, so she is clearly a big fan of the young American designer. And we loved that she chose to wear her hair back with it – sequins and big hair would look a little too much – like a night out at Gossips nightclub.

Over to Sunday night, Cheryl went 'best of British' in a Richard Nicoll AW ’09 corseted ivory and gold number, accessorised with Gina shoes, and Shaun Leane earrings and bracelet. Her hair was big again – well, there are the L’Oréal bods to keep happy..
