A parade of stars set cameras flashing as they walked the red carpet for the Museum of Contemporary Art Awards (MOCA) and the Prada book launch this weekend. With top designers being represented from Miu Miu to Proenza Schouler and an array of daring trends to be coveted, it was a delectable feast of frocks. So, without further ado, here's this weekend's best dressed. Deliberate over your favourites below…

Wowser! Here’s a sure-fire way to make a statement. For the Prada book launch, Chloë Sevigny and Zoe Saldana dared to give the underwear-as-outwear trend a go courtesy of chest-exposing tops with undone buttons direct from the Miu Miu A/W ‘09 catwalk. Zoe’s turquoise sheer shirt mixed with a plum pencil skirt and matching tights was a delicious colour choice in contrast to Chloë, who stuck to formal neutrals aside from those popping orange lips. Blake Lively also left little to the imagination thanks to her similarly plunging neckline at a screening of her new film The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee. But while Chloë and Zoe kept the erotic factor to a modest minimum due to their flesh-tone bras and mid-calf length skirts, the Gossip Girl star was more risqué in her revealing Marchesa white blazer and thigh-skimming shorts, which showcased those killer curves. As the rumoured new face of Victoria Beckham's fashion line, we wonder what Mrs B will make of Blake bending the cardinal cleavage-or-legs rule...

Christina Ricci and Ginnifer Goodwin opted to go for decidedly more demure looks when they attended the Prada party dolled-up in pretty prom-style dresses. Their 50s-inspired structured shape, with nipped-in waist and hemline that flares out to exaggerate the hips, creates a perfectly feminine and sophisticated silhouette. For added detail, both ladies accessorised with feminine floral corsages and Ginnifer’s safety pin detail brings a fun, modern twist.

After Kristen Stewart’s funky take on Proenza Schouler’s fresh and fun collection, Kate Bosworth was the latest starlet to don one of the S/S ‘09 designs for the MOCA event. The animal print and high hemline of her sexy shift creates a rock-and-roll edge, complemented by her mussed up hair ‘do which keeps it casual-cool. Also in monochrome was Carey Mulligan, who continued to wow us with her growing sartorial status. The actress du jour chose a Prada dress beautifully adorned with transparent embellishments teamed with matching satin pumps. But as much as we’re loving the look, here’s hoping the 24-year-old opts for a more youthful get-up for her next red carpet outing...

Chloë Sevigny clearly had a busy weekend in the style stakes as she wore yet another adventurous Miu Miu outfit at the MOCA Awards, this time from the latest S/S ‘10 collection. Mixing a high-waisted printed miniskirt and a quirky tee complete with jewels and a ruffled turtleneck, La Sev reminds us once again that she can always be counted on for a dose of kooky cool. Eva Mendes also chose to support Miuccia with a black and beige dress from the Miu Miu designer, which was embellished with similar bejewelled detailing but with a more sophisticated result. Just fabulous! For more of our fave outfits from the weekend, check out the gallery below...
