We knew he was never going to go mainstream with tinsel and baubles, but even we didn’t expect this to be the design for John Galliano’s Christmas tree at Claridge's. The Dior legend will be dressing the tree at the prestigious London hotel, and this first-look sketch says we should expect a tropical tree to be unveiled on 1 December. Dramatic with a feminine twist (baring a strong resemblance to John’s S/S '10 designs then – we’re still swooning over that lace and lingerie…), the tree is sure to be absolutely gorgeous, especially with Galliano at the helm.
