Model Heidi Klum only gave birth (to baby Lou Samuel) six weeks ago, yet next Thursday she’ll be back on the Victoria’s Secret’s catwalk presenting their annual fashion show. While the supermodel is keeping tight-lipped about the news, simply saying she’ll 'take it easy and see what happens', it seems VS are happy to shout it from the rooftops. 'Heidi is superwoman. She had a baby a few weeks ago and she is hosting the most high profile fashion show in the world,' said Ed Razek, president and chief marketing officer of the world famous lingerie company yesterday. 'Victoria’s Secret is thrilled to have her back. There is no one like her.'

Actually, that’s not quite true, because two other Victoria’s Secret models are currently eight months pregnant: Karoline Korkova and Adriana Lima. And so, yesterday, the company announced some additions to the Angels line-up with Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Chanel Iman being thrown into the mix. They will join the current cast which includes Doutzen Kroes (who has previously fronted campaigns for Versace and Valentino), Marisa Miller and Miranda Kerr, who at Paris Fashion Week made that oh-so-difficult transition from underwear modelling to the catwalk for Balenciaga. With VS’s high profile campaigns and mega-bucks global advertising budgets, this latest role is likely to catapult Candice, Chanel and the other newbies even further in the supermodel league.
