UPDATE! Georgia Jagger for Versace!

georgia may jagger

You’d be forgiven for doing a double-take when you look at Georgia May Jagger. The 17-year-old daughter of Rolling Stones royalty Mick Jagger undoubtedly bares a striking resemblance to her mother Jerry Hall. They both share the same flowing blonde hair and sultry red pout, with Georgia’s trademark gap teeth putting a rockier edge on her mother’s classic beauty. And now it seems she’s catching up with Jerry (who at one point earned thousands a week as a model and actress and was also the face of YSL and Revlon) and making a huge stamp on the industry. As if out of nowhere, Georgia has been launched into the spotlight, taking on campaigns for Hudson Jeans, make-up giant Rimmel and now apparently Versace. Versace have always loved their rock and roll style, with Donatella Versace admitting, 'My inspiration is still rock and roll, but now it's lady rock and roll. The look is more refined, and more glamorous.' So, maybe this is Versace trying to take the label in a younger, edgier rock and roll direction. Or perhaps Donatella just couldn’t resist Georgia’s personification of that iconic Rolling Stones logo, with her pouty red lips in the Rimmel pics. One thing’s for sure, though, if this girl’s already fronting major campaigns at 17, she’s definitely one we’re going to watch for the future.

UPDATE! We have just spoken to Georgia's agent who has confirmed the whisperings about her as the new face of Versace, saying; "We are delighted that Georgia is following the foot steps of her mother who did Versace with Avedon. She was thrilled to be working with Donatella and Mario and to be bringing it through to a new generation.” Exciting stuff!

  • I find her a bit odd looking - she's pretty enough, but that hideous gap in her teeth reminds me of Madge! As for that blonde hair URGHHHHH boriing like her mother!

  • well that was unexpected! I think Georgina is [clearly] gorgeous but I feel at 17 its completely in appropriate for her to model for a WOMENswear label renowned for its 'sexiness'. Personally I think she would be great for a younger brand or even something like Topshop. OK so it would be quite as prestigious but Georgina is only just starting out -she has plenty of time to model for the likes of Versace when she is older.

  • I hate how "horse faces" like this get oppurtunities like this because of their famous parents seriously it is ridiculous. If she didnt have famous parents then no one would give her the time of day!!!
