With the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Helena Christensen and Jason Wu’s muses back on the red carpet, we were in for quite a treat when we browsed the best dressed celebs this morning. But what do you make of our contenders? Go on, have your fashion-savvy say...

Hurrah! At last, we saw a bright night over in la-la land and it was all thanks to Jason Wu’s colourful catwalk of mustard yellows, reds, greens and brilliant blues. We knew the red carpet crowd would be clamoring to wear the vibrant designs and yesterday, at the preview of Wu’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection, a selection finally got their chance. And that equals Diane Kruger back on fashion form! The actress, who accompanied the designer to this year's CFDAs, looked divine with the playful polka dots, poofy skirt and feminine chiffon draping of her frock. The bouncy curls falling from her chignon bun are a super pretty choice to really set off the asymmetric neckline and the gorgeous aqua colour perfectly brings out her true blues. She is officially back in our good books after that rather questionable choice at the Hollywood Film Festival Awards, phew! Lily Collins also went for a quirky cute look in her full skirted number with sheer yoke and a fun flash of colour courtesy of the aqua bodice and red sash. While Lily and Diane picked dresses direct from the S/S ‘10 catwalk, Amber Heard and Jessica Stroup mixed it up by pairing their tulip Wu skirts with the perfect complement: a girlie tee and a big belt to create the designer’s signature shape. We’re massive fans of Amber’s blonde quiff and bold lip to add a touch of vintage allure. A new Scarlett Johannson is emerging, we feel...

Lauren Conrad added some va va voom to the Avon Gala in her curve-clinging Hervé Léger bandage dress and YSL pumps. We’re loving her colour popping red lip and retro curls for a sophisticated icing on the outfit. And as the face of the brand, ever-glowing Reese Witherspoon didn’t let us down either. Just check out those golden tousled waves a top her sexy three-tone, bustier dress by Narciso Rodriguez. What a corker! Also walking the red carpet were Courtney Cox and Fergie who both sported tiered ruffles and platform heels, although Fergie chose feather detailing for the perfect party accompaniment on her Valentino number. But what's with all the grey/black/beige ladies?

Our favourite Danish delight, Helena Christensen, was over in New York City to celebrate the launch of the Garrard Collection and how blooming gorgeous does she look? We’re drooling over her monochrome floral mini and cute white clutch - all you need is a pair of never ending legs to pull this one off! Helena was joined by Mischa Barton and Ugly Betty star, Becki Newton, who also opted for black frocks but failed to wow in comparison to the uber-model. At least they both added some killer heels but if it wasn’t for their glitzy waist detailing to add definition, their figures would’ve been swamped under all that fabric. And we can’t be having that on such a glamourous Tuesday night...
