Glitz and glamour were the criteria for this weekend, giving the stars the perfect opportunity to get on their glad rags. Check out the stellar line-up here…

It was all about Gucci glamour for the launch of the brand’s Icon-Temporary, a flash sneaker store, hosted by creative director Frida Giannini and Mark Ronson. The stars in attendance looked disco-dancefloor ready, but none more so than Mischa Barton, who’s officially back on fashion form if this get-up is anything to go by. She worked the sequined look thanks to her long-sleeved black dress with plunging neckline; and Poppy Delevingne glittered in her slick leather leggings and oversized tunic top. While Mischa and Leigh Lezark, who rocked another metallic number, stayed snug with tights under their minidresses, Claire Danes kept it simple and summery in this nautical-inspired frock with cute pocketing detailing from Gucci’s Resort ’10 collection. Evan Rachel Wood also rocked Gucci and this one-shouldered A/W ’09 number maximised the glam factor with ease. Top marks for the bondage-style strapped heels, matching leather cuff and large belt to toughen up her beautiful green sparkler. That’s our look for the party season sorted then.
Eva Green was another star gleaming on the red carpet thanks to her eye-catching evening gown. She arrived at the London Film Festival for the premiere of Cracks wearing this sequinned number by Donna Karan. Although the claret colour isn’t complimented by Eva’s tomato red lip, it's got glamour written all over it.
In Rio de Janeiro, Estelle brought some colour to the after-hours when she joined Donatella Versace at the Fashion Rocks event. We’re loving her autumnal-hued, statement-making dress – and although the sharp shoulders are a bit American football, you've got to admire a girl who so bravely embraces the trend.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Olivia Wilde
Over at the Environmental Media Awards, Ginnifer Goodwin looked adorable in her stylish off-the-shoulder frock with an asymmetrical gathered hem. The feminine shape nips in her waist and those unfussy accessories are the perfect addition. So perfect, in fact, that Olivia Wilde opted for near-identical heels when she joined her at the event. But while Ginnifer kept it girly, Olivia opted for a svelte and sassy look thanks to the lace panels on her LBD.
And last but never least is the ever-fashionable Whitney Port who partied in Las Vegas wearing a soft pink, ruched minidress. The turtleneck makes it very ’60s chic and, with all that leg on show, it keeps it sexy yet safe. We want her stylist!
