To be or not to be, that is the question. We had already heard rumblings on the rumour mill about Agy moving to Hollywood to pursue acting, so we knew it wouldn’t be long before she turned her talents to the big screen. Joining the ranks of uber-models-turned-actors, which include Sienna Miller, Charlize Theron and more recently Lily Cole in The Imaginarium Of Dr Parnassus, Miss Deyn is set to appear in a short film by artist Peter McGough. McGough is one half of the artistic duo McDermott and McGough, the NY painters who live and dress completely in 1900s garb, so we’re expecting great and insightful things for Agy’s first flick. Her co-star will be Law And Order's Linus Roache, but we don’t reckon there will be much stage fright from the supermodel, who says she already feels like an actress. 'It's so weird because it's like I'm pretending to be a model. And when I get on a shoot and they say, "Be sexy" or "Be ladylike", I have to think: OK, I'm turning into that character. And then after the shoot I'm back to normal.' Add some incredible jewellery and make-up to the mix (Peter is trying to get sponsorship for the film from beauty giant Guerlain and luxury jeweller Mikimoto) and we smell a recipe for success.
