What Cheryl was wearing!

Cheryl cole

Cheryl certainly made some erm, brave fashion choices over the weekend (seriously, what was going on with those split-sided trousers?). Our favourite outfit? Her Saturday-night dress, which turns out to be yet another piece from Atelier Versace (how long before we see Cheryl in a Versace campaign, hmm?). After donning a glittering gold number by Donatella Versace’s couture house last week, Cheryl chose a quirkier silhouette with this glossy scarlet dress covered in plastic paillettes to give her tiny figure some killer curves, emphasised by a silver vintage belt and worn with a Superstud cuff and Fly by Night Cascade earrings both by Stephen Webster, and stripy-platform heels by Cesare Paciotti.

And she’s in good company since both Heidi Klum and Emma Roberts have previously worn this edgy couture dress. But the mind boggles as to how she managed to sit through the two-hour show in this one...

  • I can't help feeling that Cheryl has been trying much to hard since the start of this year's X Factor. She is naturally charming, attractive and just so sweet; she doesn't have to slap us in the face with overly styled hair, mega tight and short dresses and always those killer heels. A bit of subtlety would make her truly adorable, just like last night's performance without the hat, or the split trousers, or the skin showing - would have been a real delight. Crissie79

  • She looks like she's wearing two strawberries.
I LOVE it. Normally I hate all the twee little bright skirts and bright blouses, but this dress is amazing. Unfortunately, it's STILL coupled with the terminally irritating 'cute' Cheryl grin.

  • I think she's mistaken a lampshade for a dress here.

  • Is this the real Cheryl Cole or a waxwork version?
Its all very shiny and plastic looking. Honestly those legs don't look real to me.
