Naomi Campbell and Louis Vuitton join forces for charity!

Ah, Naomi Campbell, you are a lady of contradictions. There aren’t many supermodels we can think of who have been accused of uber diva-ness, had assault allegations made against them, yet are also a through-and-through goodie and the spokeswoman for a charity.

Naomi is the global ambassador for The White Ribbon Alliance and has now announced she’s teaming up with Louis Vuitton to raise money for this worthwhile group. LV are donating some of the proceeds from their gorgeous bag (with the classic monogram we all know and love) to White Ribbon, who work to reduce maternal mortality throughout the world. The bag, priced at $2,789 (£1,752), will hit the shelves of the 439 international Vuitton stores in March, to coincide with International Women’s Day, also that month.

Naomi, who began modelling for Marc Jacobs when she was 16, has said she thinks the bag will sell really well and also that, 'People say fashion people don’t do anything. We do a lot.' Quite right, NC. And for Miss Campbell that also includes auctioning off her collection of Hermès bags to raise even more funds for the charity. Blimey, she really is all heart! [WWD]
