Rumours have been buzzing all week, and yesterday Grazia heard it from the designer himself: Richard Nicoll has confirmed he is the new designer at Cerruti. ‘I’m really pleased,’ says the London-based Australian designer. Rumours about Richard getting the job surfaced in the last week when insiders recognised his signature style on Cerruti’s pre-collection. And they were right. Richard will be working in Paris two to three days a week, and he is already creating their A/W 2010 collection for the February shows. But of course he will still be continuing to work on his eponymous label too. The official announcement will be made tomorrow - which is also Richard's first official day in the office - so expect more updates as we hear more.
