10 Best Dressed: Who gets your vote?

02 October 2009

Over in Paris, Fashion Week is in full swing and we can barely contain our excitement after watching the incredible Balmain and Balenciaga shows. But it’s not just the models walking the runway who were hot to trot, oh no! Lily Cole and Eva Green were strutting their stuff on the red carpet for the Mont Blanc store opening and over in LA, our favourite stars from the The Hills were celebrating LC’s clothing collaboration with Kohl’s. So let’s begin the countdown to the weekend by paying homage to last night’s best dressed…

Rihanna continued to show off her style credentials in the home of couture when she arrived on the FROW of Balmain. Working a lace camisole, satin harem trousers and those signature Balmain power shoulders with a new Mohican hair do, she looked every inch the A-Lister.

Whitney Port

Not many people can get away with wearing high-waisted leather shorts but Whitters is one fashionista who can! Those killer legs certainly help, as do her fierce leopard print boots that complement her tribal necklace. She’s mixing a lot of trends with that crochet crop top and elegant Chanel bag but once again, she pulls it off.

Lindsay Lohan

The Emmanuel Ungaro show is scheduled for this Sunday so surely the line’s artistic adviser, Lilo, is hard at work in the studio? But no, here she is doing what she does best at the '90 Years of Vogue Covers' party dressed in a revealing jumpsuit and a sequin wrap. Her diamante bracelets add an extra luxe factor. Here's hoping she'll opt for an equally impressive outfit on the FROW...

Kristen Bell

At the premiere of her new film in Sydney, Kristen shows us the perfect way to jazz up this simple black Preen dress with Jimmy Choo zip-front heels. Her slick of peach lipstick and matching nail polish are a subtle colour pop and luckily she didn’t go too matchy-matchy thanks to those burgundy toe nails.

Lily Cole

Lily’s been one of our best dressers two days in a row and we can’t get enough of her effortless style. Her fuchsia dress clashes beautifully with her auburn hair and the turquoise on those fabulous booties correspond with her cocktail ring. A for effort!

Lauren Conrad

LC is always on trend and last night was no exception. In the perfect embodiment of easy chic, the star teamed her simple shift with a sleek ponytail but rocked it up a level thanks to a pair of studded gladiators. We're seriously coveting that blue nail polish for a fun dash of colour.

Eva Green

Our favourite Bond babe goes for a dramatic look as she steps out in Paris. Her teal Alberta Ferretti gown, with draped detailing to accentuate the waist and floor-sweeping length, is ever so elegant. But that gothic-inspired makeup gave us quite a fright!

Pixie Geldof

It was obviously the night of the goths as Pixie stepped out in this grunge-glam get up. It’s nice to see her looking more ladylike for a change in an LBD and fitted jacket. But it seems the tramp-channelling continues: what’s with that leather stripper coat?! And please Pixie, do something with your horrendous hair cut!

Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde

She’s back again! Olivia is on fashion fire right now and we’re completely in awe. The actress arrived at the David Letterman show in this Helmut Lang sheath with interesting cowel neck. She wisely skipped on the jewellery, sticking instead to a sexy biker with three quarter length sleeves to toughen up her look and a pair of sexy Brian Atwood patent pumps.

Amber Le Bon

Amber worked it over on our side of the pond at the Diesel U Music Tour launch. With her oversized clutch, cropped jacket and waist-clinching belt, Amber stuck to head-to-toe black and the result is elegant yet edgy. Having a super stylish mum is clearly paying off...!
