We’ve booked our hotels, bought our reading material for the Eurostar, mentally visualised our outfits for each day we are there, and picked up our schedules. So, really, apart from packing, we are all set for Paris Fashion Week. And as the last week in the fashion week schedule, we are hoping for something spectacular – this is Paris after all. So what are we looking forward to the most? Well, apart from great wines and plenty of amazing cheese (it would be rude not to), there are many a fashion show, front row and appointment we can’t wait to see…
It is our first show upon arrival tomorrow, but will it be big shoulders and sequins a-gogo, or will they surprise us all and go minimalist?
Nina Ricci’s New Man
Last season, designer Olivier Theyskens won a standing ovation as he delivered his last collection for the brand. But will new designer Peter Copping get the same reception?
Another Marant Moment?
Isabel Marant dominated the fashion headlines after last season's collection that totally captured the mood of the moment with wearable and desirable clothes – can she do it again?
LiLo for Ungaro
Obv. Li-Lo will be there (hopefully). And we also want to see how the new designer shapes up.
The Return of Phoebe Philo
We’re expecting a scrum outside the Celine show on Monday as everyone arrives to check out what Phoebe is doing after her fashion gap years!
The Chanel Front Row
In February the paps almost broke the catwalk in the scrum to get to Kate Moss, but will she appear again with best friend Lily Allen this Tuesday?
Alexander McQueen hits the internet
You too can be part of Paris Fashion Week as Showstudio live streams the Alexander McQueen show on Tuesday evening. He is the man with the finale, so tune in and expect something amazing!
Louis Vuitton’s FROW and Set
LV are never one to scrimp on a celeb-fest front row or a mega-location. Marc had Madonna and Lady Gaga in NY, so hopefully they will follow him to Paris.
And then of course there is Miu Miu, Chloé, Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Valentino, Dior and YSL, among many, many, many more. We can’t wait!
