As any Fashion Editor will tell you (probably while racing to catch a cab to the Via Spiga Prada store), Milan is all about accessories. So Grazia has taken the time pick the most covetable pieces from the Spring collections. February 2010 might seem far away, but we suggest you get your name on those waiting lists right now…
MOSCHINO’S YUPPIE BLING

We loved Moschino’s back-to-the-80’s gilt trip. From the oh-so Sade gold hoop earrings, to the jangly charm bracelets and the tassled chain belts, we love the grown-up dress-up quality of these excessive accessories. Your love is bling.
VERSACE v GUCCI v FENDI – Battle of the Platforms

The flats-on-the-catwalk trend has barely begun and already there’s a backlash. Milan’s finest, Donatella and Frida and er, Karl, refused to be grounded. We’re still trying to work out - whose were highest?
PUCCI’S BEAUTIFUL BALLERINA HEELS

Was there ever a pair of shoes with more delicate, elegant lacework than these? Maybe in a magical fairy tale. We don’t know that the model’s shoes were done up for her by Disney cartoon bluebirds backstage, but we have our suspicions.
WE heart MOSCHINO’S BAG

“Is that Fed-Ex? I have an urgent overnight delivery for a Ms A Deyn…”
PRADA’S FANTASTIC PLASTIC

And you thought Vivienne Westwood’s Melissa collaboration was the last you’d seen of posh plastic. Miuccia Prada’s clear sporty sandals jangled with jewel-dripping ankle bracelets, and matching crystal clear bags.
For those who like to keep their paraphernalia private, a smoky black version is available (think: limo windows).
JIL SANDER’S MINIMALIST MEGA-PURSE

It’s ladylike and sleek and will hide all your junk with a satisfying clunk! (We reckon you could even slide in a compact laptop). Plus, we love that pale rose coloured leather.
Forget the It Bag, Here’s the Bit Bag

Spring seems so endlessly pretty pretty, that perhaps it was inevitable that the clunky It bag seems to have been superseded by the teeny-weeny bag. These look fresh and new, although personally we find the idea of a bag that can fit in your pocket very, very confusing.
ONE BAG, FOUR WAYS - CAVALLI SHOWS HOW TO CARRY IT OFF

The Tuck The Dangle The Grab The Flaunt
Handles, schmandles, it’s not (just) what you’ve got, but how you hold it next season.
NEXT FOR NECKS…

We love Marni’s mega-sequinned collars – one step from day to night; insta-glam.
What our trench has been waiting for, D&G’s neckerchief adds Frenchy-cool.
Already we’re worried about wearing all that white – Emporio Armani’s jazzy necklace and big black earrings provide the answer.
