We knew that London designers appreciated Pixie Geldolf’s, um… look…, but we didn’t realise that it translated outside of the grimy east-end. In London this season she stormed down the catwalk for Vivienne Westwood and Jeremy Scott, and to be honest we thought that perhaps that would be it for Pixie’s modelling career. But we were wrong, as she cropped up last night on the catwalk for C’N’C Costume National – the label’s street style fashion line – in Milan, alongside London bestie, Daisy Lowe. Both girls did one exit each, both trussed up in casual black layers, with their hair messily piled on top, just the way Pixie likes it. And while Daisy has walked for Anna Sui before in NY, this was Pixie’s first international show. Last February she was supposed to be modelling for Pollini, for her friend Jonathan Saunders, but unfortunately school got in the way. Could this mean that Pixie might be taken seriously as a model? Well, if she turns up in Paris we all know that the Geldolf moment is far from over.
