Mango slashes prices to fight the recession

Mango Think Up Mango Think Up

Our purses breathed a massive sigh of relief as Mango launched its new Think Up collection yesterday.

With a tag line of ‘Special prices for creative living’, the Spanish giant has slashed the prices of over ninety of its regular items, plus a few basics designed specifically for the range.

“Because of the recession, Mango wanted to make its clothes more available to everyone, from high-end customers to students,” said a spokesperson. “We want them to be able to still buy into the Mango brand.”

Think Up has gone down really well. People are really surprised by how affordable the clothes are and yet the great quality is still exactly the same.”

The project is being documented through their blog which is full of celebrity gossip, style tips and of course a link to the Think Up line. The range includes tops, skirts, city shorts and some gorgeous print dresses from as little as £9, so we’re sure they’ll be flying off the rails. Form an orderly queue now, ladies!
