After their Twenty8Twelve show last night, we took five with design duo Savannah and Sienna Miller to talk fashion and, erm, OAPs. Sending out a punky London girl collection (Alice Dellal strutted down the catwalk in washed denim), the girls told us that their inspiration for the S/S 2010 collection was iconic photos from the ’50s and the birth of rock’n’roll. But who exactly is the new season Twenty8Twelve girl? 'Anyone from 14 to 60 can wear our clothes,' Sienna tells us, while Savannah chimes, 'as long as she can put things together! The show was styled in such a way that we’re not trying to get people to wear the full looks, it’s much more interesting when someone takes one piece and works around it.' Hmmm, watching our granny rock out in cut-off denim waistcoat? Now there’s something we’d like to see! And seeing as the girls were in a good mood - well Anna Wintour had been sitting front row at their show - we couldn't resist quizzing them about their dirty, little fashion secrets. 'For one of my very first auditions when I was doing the screen test, I bought a designer suit, wore it for about a week and then returned it,' revealed Sienna. And as for her sister Savannah, who worked at Alexander McQueen for years. ‘Well put it this way there might be a few pairs of shoes in the back of my closet, I haven’t exactly paid for!’ Ah, you’ve got to love a few fashion freebies!
