Britain's First Lady is the latest FROW-er!

Following on from throwing the most fabulous fashion party of the season at No 10 on Friday, Sarah Brown cemented her style credentials this afternoon by choosing to attend the catwalk presentation of designer Graeme Black. Britain's First Lady sat in the front row, looking seriously chic in a Graeme Black outfit that had been custom made for her by the designer; a black and grey ribbed jersey jacket and elegant wide-legged black trousers.

Brown has worn the Scottish designer’s clothes on numerous occasions and it seems the label has helped her develop a low-key and well-judged sense of style. When global style icon Michelle Obama was in town for the G20, earlier this year, Brown held her own in a beautiful beaded jacket by Black. Today she declared herself a fan ‘it’s all lovely, I love Graeme Black.’

So does Grazia; the man knows how to create a bit of modern luxury, and this collection was no exception; from the sharp-shouldered jackets with peplums, to the long, multi-striped jersey dresses and the grey silk one-shouldered tops worn with soft drawstring-waisted shorts; it was a lesson in effortless style.

And it seems we can look forward to seeing Brown in more, er, Black. Asked if she might order any pieces from the show she told us ‘I loved the jackets and the eveningwear’.

Michelle who?
