Victoria Beckham’s NYFW debut

We’ve heard of making an entrance, but Victoria Beckham made sure all eyes were on her as she rocked up to an event in New York last night. In a super-tight corseted dress by British designer Giles Deacon, modified from the A/W '09 runway look, VB paired her thigh-skimming hem with a fashion-forward pair of over-the-knee boots. And while it sure ain’t a look for the faint-hearted, we’re delighted that she is branching out into a bit of bold print. We wonder if all her own-designed dresses were at the dry cleaners...

  • It's great that she's going for a slightly edgier look, but did she really have to match her tan to the colour of her dress???

  • Once again VB looks awful. The tango tan, overinflated breasts and pouty face really need a major makeover and she truly needs to put some meat on her skeletal frame. Yes the dress and boots are fab as stand alone pieces but together on VB the look is just bad, bad bad. She just tries far to hard to look good and fails every single time!

  • hmmm the words DRAG and QUEEN spring to mind...

  • What is the need for the tango tan with this look? Clearly a honey glow would have looked MUCH better with this very cute dress. The boots are, again, just too much! A pair of simple, black platforms would have looked better. This outfit wouldn't look good on anyone at all.

  • If only VB could tone down the fakebake and put on a bit of weight she could look great and be a whole lot healthier too.

  • No matter how much weight she'd put on or how pale Posh goes, she will only ever amount to a very desperate fashion victim. Shame really that money can't buy style.

  • What happened to uber pale posh? Jordan-esq anyone?
