As part of London Fashion Week's 25th anniversary celebrations, Warehouse, Grazia, and the British Fashion Council joined forces in the nationwide search for the best of a new crop of British fashion talent. The winner was 22-year-old

Today I went down to Somerset House with Sophie Harris (Warehouse’s Senior Press Officer) to check out the venue for Fashion Week and see the space that we have been allocated in which to showcase the Ruth Green for Warehouse collection. It’s so exciting, the space is amazing! Now we have to go back to our plans and see how they fit in terms of practicalities, like ceiling height!
The tags are now well underway and we are now starting to think about other branding such as bags and how it can all tie together as a package. AMAZING! It’s also a busy week up in design. We’re getting through lots of artwork and spec packs for beading and embroidery pieces, and beginning work and research for the next organics range, based on the trend and colour board that has already been put together for us to work from.
Big meeting today, going through all of the newly developed ideas for colour and key piece trends, breaking them down over each month for early 2010!
Check back next week for the next instalment, where Ruth tells us all about a very special magazine shoot...
