WATCH Victoria Beckham’s new advertising campaign

01 September 2009

Remember when Victoria Beckham took her place behind the camera to direct the advertising video for her A/W ’09 collection of dresses in London last month? Well the editors have clearly been working around-the-clock because it’s here! Models in four different versions of the dresses swing from seats outside houses on Westbourne Grove – and VB herself makes a cameo swinging in her £2,095 Carmontelle dress. Our thoughts?

1. How did the models manage to bend their knees in those dresses?

2. How did they persuade the residents of Westbourne Grove to vacate for the morning? Or did VB just buy the street?

3. Why did they let that dress trail on the ground at the bus stop? And who’d get a bus wearing that thousand-pound number anyway?

4. Why didn’t Brooklyn do the rainbow voice-over at the end? Maybe that’s why Victoria needs a girl…
