SJP channels Rachel Zoe for SATC2!

When the first photo from the set of SATC2 landed on our desks, we did a double-take. The sexy '70s jersey dress, the killer sparkly disco heels, the oh-so-Studio 54 clutch... surely that’s Rachel Zoe? Actually, non, it’s Mrs Big, aka Carrie Bradshaw, dressed by that other superstar stylist: Patricia Field.

Even so, we’re loving the Zoe-bot look on SJP. But what we're really dying to know is: who won the SATC2 Fashion Battle?

As previously reported, behind the scenes, there has been something of a power struggle over Carrie’s favourite past-time – shopping. Earlier this year, Parker told MSN that, because of the recession, it would be 'inappropriate to showcase the designer clothes the franchise [SATC] became famous for.' Meanwhile, die-hard fashionista Field told us there’s no way she would ditch the designer gear, 'I wouldn't do it. Of course, the four girls are going to be fabulous and flamboyant – otherwise what is the point? I want to do it the other way. I'd be like: "Forget your troubles." I don't use the recession as a reference for my creativity.'

Of course, we’ve already clocked Carrie's mega-high sequinned Louboutins (yum), and the metallic Chanel clutch. So currently it's 2 - Nil to Field. But what about the dress? We'll keep you posted as soon as we find out more..
