A week in Olivia Palermo’s wardrobe
Now we have to admit, we do spend many a working hour secretly pining over socialite and 'The City' star Olivia Palermo’s style. And from the girl who counts DVF, Zac Posen, YSL, oh and not to mention her Hermès Birkin (the list goes on!) as her wardrobe staples, it’s not surprising she steps out looking preened to perfection every time. This week we can’t get enough of her super-chic city shorts by Milly and crisp white shirt combo, showcasing an eye-catching Jaeger beaded necklace by day and her ‘oh I just threw on the first thing I found’ red carpet style by night. Whoever said flats were a big no-go after dark? Olivia uses her silver lace-ups to tame her fierce black leather mini skirt and animal print top. Then layering a simple stripey t-shirt dress and blouse seen on the runway at Chanel for AW09 - it looks like someone has been doing her homework. Throw in her glossy golden locks and perfectly tone pins, et voila!

stummel - She has a pretty face & nice glossy hair & is fashionable most times. I do not think the Birken looks well with the shorts, a less structured bag is needed. If you watch the city she is so bitchy & boring, if Whitney told her she was going 4 a drink, Olivia would give her a lecture on not getting drunk. She's a pure snob, i like her clothes but not her
SHOEGAL4 - Olivia as a friend or a work colleague no thanks but as someone to totally fawn over their wardrobe yes please. Absolutely fabulous wardrobe, puts it all together in that grown up way that shows fashion and style can be grown up, on trend and cute without looking like your competing with Taylor Momsen or Alexa C.
