French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld is well-known for being pretty much the most stylish woman on the planet. But it looks like she wasn’t always rocking the shaggy hairdo, rock'n'roll eye make-up and effortless cool. ‘It wasn’t until I started to work for Gucci in the '90s that it started to become clear to me. Talking of high-powered women in fashion, Anna Wintour was spotted asking for ‘a more private table’ at a New York restaurant following her appearance on David Letterman. Managers were able to find her and her guest a more appropriate spot, from where Anna ordered an off-menu arugula salad with chopped apples.  ‘She looked annoyed, but you couldn't tell if it was because he was late, or if she was rattled by Letterman.’ [Page Six]

She can’t have been too annoyed though. With a new promo video for Fashion’s Night Out hitting the internet overnight, la Wintour is pictured in a T-shirt – yes, a T-shirt – to advertise the event.
