Rachel Zoe gets spoofed! (We die)

As the second series of the brilliant The Rachel Zoe Project kicks off in the States (and we wonder - once again - why we weren’t born American), we’ll be consoling ourselves with our latest YouTube find: The Stylist. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but we’re not sure how flattered Ms Zoe would be by this spoof. As if the original show wasn’t comedy value enough (according to US critics who have – sigh! – actually seen the first episode of season two, the highlight is Rachel declaring: ‘That dress was like carrying it in my womb for nine months and birthing it out the Golden Globes.’), this version sees two young men do the Rachel’n’Brad thing, making mockery of statement jewellery and Rachel’s propensity to say ‘I die’ or ‘She kills it’ by saying: ‘These glasses just gave me pancreatic cancer’. Until 2010 (that’s right, people, 2010), when La Zoe graces our screens once more courtesy of cable chanel Really, it'll be keeping us (almost) satisfied.

The Rachel Zoe Project will be shown on weeknights at 9pm from 23 September on Really.
