She’s been on TV since she was eight months old, made millions and squillions and proved that you can get fashion credibility as a celebrity starting your own fashion line. All before she’s even turned 23. So we’re not really surprised that Ashley Olsen is thinking of taking time out to, oh you know, collect vintage Balenciaga or stay up late in New York dive bars. In other words, she’s talking about quitting her hands-on role designing The Row and overseeing sister label Elizabeth & James. ‘In the fashion world everyone is just really looking out for themselves. I don't know if I'll be designing this collection forever. A couple of years from now, I'm sure I'll want to do something else, and I'm not going to shy away from that.’ So what’s Ashley thinking of replacing her CFDA-approved design credentials with? ‘What if I just want to be an artist, or if I want to go back to acting? Which is not in the cards, but what if I wanted to do that?’ With sister Mary-Kate already a fully-fledged actress, could we soon see them working together? How amazing would a grown up version of Full House be?!
