Hot Label to Watch: LnA

If LNA aren't already on your radar then you need to step to it, the LA-based label is the coolest, sexiest lifestyle brand out there. Founded in 2007 by California girls Lauren Alexander and April Leight, who built their line from scratch aspiring to create the perfect men’s tee for women, it received instant success. That very summer the debut collection launched at Barneys New York, Madison, and Henri Bendel. And then an army of A-list fans followed suit almost instantly. First the tees and then the leggings, cut with low rise, wide waist-bands (literally the most flattering leggings ever) which were swiftly developed with zip details in many colours and different fabrics to become part of the label's DNA, shortly followed by dresses and so much more 'It was a natural progression for us,' says April Leight. 'Our idea behind the line has always been to create perfect basics with some edge.'

Now a mere two years later the calibre has grown hugely, from simple (yet totally gorgeous) tees the new collection boasts a divine cape-jacket, a mannish zip-detail jersey cardie, and fabulous block dresses (with body-con skirts and loose fit top-halves) to name but a few! Alexander and Leight haven't neglected the foundations of the brand either and continue to create the coolest tees on the market: 'Our focus is always finding a new way to put our own spin on basics. Every season comes new inspiration and a new twist.' It couldn't be more true of the 'Holiday' collection, which launches later this year and includes the most incredible lace tees, jumpsuits and racer-back vests – not to mention some seriously hot panel leggings! Despite their huge success these ladies don't rest on their laurels for a second, rumour is they are working a denim collection right now. Watch this space!

LNA is available online at ASOS, and at Harvey Nichols (020 7235 5000) and Selfridges (0800 123 400)
