V Festival: who wore what?

Another weekend, another festival. The blue skies and sunny temperatures over the past two days led to many an A-lister chilling out backstage at this year’s V Festival in Chelmsford. We spotted Amy Winehouse with close friend Pete Doherty in the VIP Virgin Media Louder Lounge backstage area (where she gave him a huge kiss on the lips before she joined him onstage for his set on Saturday night), an American Apparel clad Billie Piper making her first outing without son Winston, and Bond girl Gemma Arterton, who couldn't stop gushing about how happy she was to be engaged. But aside from the champagne a’flowing, the sun a’shining and the performers a’singing, what we want to know is who wore what…

Good old Toppers did the rounds designing customised looks for both VV Brown and The Noisettes’ Shingai Shoniwa, La Winehouse recycled a McQ vest from the A/W ‘07 collection, Kimberley ‘Girls Aloud’ Walsh was in a Theory maxidress, Pixie Lott went for a super-cute Lacoste jumper and Charlotte Church came over all high street in an ASOS and Topshop combination. Hmmm, now all that’s left to think about are our outfits for Reading/the Notting Hill Carnival next weekend…
