EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: behind the scenes with Yasmin Le Bon for Wallis
We’ve got to admit we were a little sceptical when we first heard that one of the original supermodels, YasminLeBon, had signed up to do a collaboration with Wallis. But then we heard that Yasmin had been full-on involved with her range, heading into the Arcadia offices three times a week. This wasn’t just another A-list lending her name to a brand – Yasmin wanted every piece to be something she would be proud to wear herself. And wear it she did. The supermodel started showcasing her series of brightly coloured floor-length ensembles earlier this year. There was the long lime green maxi that she chose to wear to the Gorbachev Gala, and the sequin cardi that received a serious stamp of approval when 20-year-old daughter Amber chose to wear it out just last month. So why now? ‘I just realised I couldn’t find what I wanted on the high street,’ Yasmin says in this exclusive behind-the-scenes video from the campaign shoot for her new line. ‘There was no colour and not enough texture to the fabrics.’ Judging by the velvet trouser suits and full-length jersey dresses that form the heart of Yasmin’s collection then – launching on 12 September – it looks like the whole line is designed to hang in her own wardrobe. And since it means we can buy something on the high street that makes us look like a supermodel, that’s OK with us…
Aw I love Yasmin - she is so gorgeous. I am such a fan of hers. I will stop now as I am gushing :) xxxx faircommentgal
She's a goddess! The collection looks fab on her but would need to see it in real life to check. The jewellery looks lovely. rollergirl

wow she has a really british accent. i love her hair as well chanelgirl
Loved watching the vid. Personally my fave bits are the accessories - stunning - the leather jacket and military coat. All pieces I'd rock. Not so convinced by the dresses so far, I think they suit an older woman. Love Yasmin though, and who'd think she was turning 45? marilisa
Yasmin has always been a style icon for me (OK, so maybe I fell in love with her husband first...). I'll definitely be snapping up the long grey dress. This is a collection that looks completely wearable with that all important luxury edge. Roll on 12th September! ddrachelg
