Donatella Versace enjoys being a diva!

We’re not really surprised the always-flamboyant Donatella Versace kind of likes her reputation as a diva. ‘I have to admit that I do actually enjoy acting up to the “diva” role that I have been allocated: after all, I am a bit of a diva, aren’t I?,’ she revealed to designer-turned-interviewer Christopher Kane. But we are surprised the Italian legend still gets nervous before her shows. ‘I have to say that presenting a collection to the public has always and still does cause me a certain amount of anxiety, but the show itself is the moment of truth, the moment when you discover whether or not your work is good.’ Sounds like she’s well placed to give new protégée Christopher a lesson in how to deal with global fashion fame.
