Kristen Stewart 'not important enough' for designer freebies!

18 August 2009

Now we may not be teenagers anymore, but that doesn’t mean that we are too old to love some vampire action. In films you understand. The Twilight series of books have been around the office numerous times and all a bit dog-eared, while the film has been discussed so many times that we could all ace a PHD in it. But the film would be nothing without the effortless moodiness of its female star, Kristen Stewart. And as she graces the cover of September’s Dazed and Confused magazine – all lazy eyes and teenage pout – we wonder if that moodiness is all Bella…? But news reaches us today that she is not all teen angst at all, in fact it seems that she is just a bit surprised by the attention. Especially with her new status as a style icon; ‘The things [I’ve worn] that have sold out have been the things that people are actually able to get that are semi-cheap,’ she explains. ‘Those things like sweatshirts and jackets, those things are mine, which is bizarre to have people go out and buy.’ But what of the gorgeous designer dresses that she has been seen in on the red carpet, ranging from Herve Leger and Marc Jacobs? ‘The really cool stuff I never get to keep any of that. I’m just not important enough yet, I think.’ Yet being the word indeed!
