Exclusive: Zadig & Voltaire A/W campaign starring Sean Lennon

Zadig & Voltaire has been the go-to brand for French chic for a while now, but nothing screams cool in fashion right now like rock-star offspring. Step forward campaign star Sean Lennon (yep, son of Beatles legend John), who stars with his model girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl as the face of Zadig & Voltaire's autumn/winter collection. ‘My inspiration was initially based on all the beautiful girls around the Rolling Stones during the 1960s,' Zadig & Voltaire's creative director Cecelia Bonstrom told Graziadaily.co.uk exclusively of the photographs. ‘I love that London girl look that Kate Moss portrays so effortlessly and I had great fun putting together this rock-inspired collection.'

The collection itself includes boyfriend-style blazers, leather leggings and classic studded pieces. It's the first season that the brand has actually shown faces in a campaign. ‘Sean was a natural choice for us as a young artist with an amazing personality. As well as being the son of two amazing people, Sean's association with freedom and strength seemed a great fit,' she says. ‘Having watched Sean grow up since I was a young girl in Sweden I was so excited to meet him and discover his talents – carrying his guitar through the streets of Paris was magic!' And what does she think of the current trend for rock-star children posing in front of the camera? ‘I don't think that you can make a generalisation about rock-star children – if the person has charisma and talent he or she will naturally make it.' Judging by these pictures, we couldn't agree more.
