So there are some people with money out there. Well, when there's the chance to snap up a memento from legendary designer Yves Saint Laurent, that is. The first charity auction, which included old masters' paintings, raised over $484.6 million, but the upcoming November sale will include a selection of more personal items from the home he shared with Pierre Bergé. The designer's set of Louis Vuitton luggage, three crocodile-skin Hermès suitcases and even his Mercedes-Benz S Class (we've got first dibs on that one, please) are set to fetch up to $6 million, with money raised going to HIV research and the fight against AIDS. So if you've got a spare thou going and fancy snapping up a piece of fashion history, get yourself over to Christie's in Paris 17-19 November. And maybe start getting your loan sorted, like, now...
