Red carpet fashion-off: Angelina Jolie v Diane Kruger
After pictures of Brad Pitt and his co-star Diane Kruger giggling and whispering in each other's ear got Hollywood buzzing last week, it's no surprise that perhaps Angelina Jolie felt the need to ramp up her style status on the red carpet for the LA premiere of Inglourious Basterds last night. Step forward a Michael Kors strapless leather dress, Dior strappy sandals and newly lightened hair that can't help but remind us of the bad-girl Angelina of the past. But Diane's never one to be outdone. Wearing a short ‘n' shoulders Versace Atelier dress with a daringly low back, she shimmered down the red carpet. Top marks for that pared-down, super-chic hair too. But whose look do you love most? Let us know below!

- They're just so different, it's hard to compare the two. Ange is successfully bringing sexy back while Diane is a true stylista who's all about the chicness. They're both working their own looks well which hopefully means they can keep the claws to themselves!

louF - Stick to what works for you! It seems Kruger is still trying to work that one out. Dress is ok, but doesn't work for her, paired down hair and make-up, great.
I love the fact that everyone still seems to be blaming Angelina too, if I had 6 kids and got together with the father the way I did, I'd be paranoid to if the guy was out drinking with fabulous looking ladies, even if I did look like Angelina! Wouldn't you? I'd certainly bust out the leather dress too. If I could work it as well as she is here. HOT.
BettyD - Oh my goodness, they both look awful... is it only me? The pictures are certainly not flattering in any way and they look malnurished or something.
marvoy - I'd have to say Diane, her dress is a lot more expensive looking and she doesn't look as trashy as Angelina, her dress looks quite ill-fitting. For me Diane can do wrong.

SC - Oooh Diane for me all the way with regards to dress sense. I love what she wears.
Angelina is so, so beautiful but honestly that leather dress is really tacky.
fashionrat - I think they both look great - but it's definitely time Ange had her hair restyled. Going a shade or two lighter isn't doing it for me. Time for the chop! Her legs look like toothpicks too. But ultimately she is still gorgeous. For me Diane wins this battle - she looks tanned, healthy, happy and the back on that dress is to die for!
jax1972 - Angelina should stick to her signature "I just wrapped myself with this fabric" style. Those clever, elegant and noble garments she usually wears make her look like a godess while this number is too "mundane" for her.
Diane is a truly "fashion conscious" so everything she wears is impeccably on fashion, a bit boring sometimes, no room for surprises.
cata - Angelinas hair and make up is uber sexy.The lighter coloured hair makes her look younger and the dress is the ultimate in rock chick chic. The shoes however,kill it for me - way too fussy. Some sexy boots would work better. Overall she looks beautiful, but i wish she would mix it up a bit and wear some COLOUR. She also looks too skinny, remember the Lara Croft curves she used to have? Much healthier. Diane is pretty but the dress is horrid and makes her look much older than she is. Over all - Angelia could do with some of Dianes quirkyness, and Diane could learn a lot from Angelinas simple classic style. For me Angelina looks the best
suerbabe7878 - Diane's dress is ghastly, and Angelina looks a tad too try hard and a change of hair wouldn't go amiss either.

mimiD - Angelina looks like she's going to be hoiking up her dress all night (no hips to keep it up!), while Diane looks like she's wrapped herself in multicoloured tinsel! And as for the hair, highlights or no, both of them need a good stylist (there's 'casual', then there's 'don't give a damn')!!!
mimmymum - Angelina is doing the sexy, leather clad bad girl thing. Harking back to her good old days before she become Mary poppins to the world. To be fair, she looks gorgeous but it's a bit too desperately "I'm still sexy, look at me - I am still sexy right? Right???' Whereas Diane Kruger just looks stunning - as always. She always maker her of-the-moment fashion look like she hasn't tried too hard. She seems to have real fun with fashion. My winner here for sure.
bellaperry - Diane looks far better, Grazia you should have shown this dress from the back because that is what made it so special. I feel like I've seen Angelina in that dress a hundred times already because it is so typical of her, plus she looks too thin, unwell, pale and undernourished. Diane is also super skinny but she is glowing and glorious.
Diane is my style crush at the moment, I'm buying my next party dress with her in mind.
PINKYDISCO - Angelina looks absolutely amazing ! Effortless style and I just love the dress - I want it, want it for myself ! Diane I am just not sure about that dress - I know shoulders are in but it just doesn't do it for me. It swamps her really and hides any shape.
vicki031 - Diane looks FAB! And let's face it, Angie will never be a fashionista so all the leather in the world won't help her in any other way but make her look tacky. Hasn't she already rocked a tube-leather frock though? Feel I have seen her looking like this before.. Go Diane!!
