Fashion week is drawing terrifyingly close. We've already had the London schedule drop into our inboxes and even had prompts for ticket requests (eek), and now the New York show schedule has landed. With a thud. For it is mammoth. From the 9th until the 17th of September, from 9am until 9pm, those attending New York Fashion Week won't even get a chance to come up for breath. Regardless of the economy, designers are ploughing away with shows and presentations galore, with Ralph Lauren showing three times on the final day, instead of his usual two. Everyday has big name highlights, from Alexander Wang to Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs and Zac Posen. After Jonathan Saunders returning to London this season, Preen are the only Brits to be flying the British flag, but Temperley are presenting their SS'10 collection. Doo.Ri and Isaac Mizrahi are newcomers to the big Bryant Park tent venue, but the biggest surprise on the schedule is Grazia favourite, Erin Wasson, who is showing her RVCA collection on the catwalk for the first time. What with early starts and lots of late parties, we imagine a very tired NY audience will be touching down in London on the 18th - get the Berocca on ice!
