First Look: Nicole Richie’s maternity line

06 August 2009

Nicole Richie is probably one of the few women whose spot-on pregnancy style makes us think it might not be so scary to go through that (again). Add to that she's a bonafide fashion designer now – her jewellery line House of Harlow 1960 has become so successful that even Madonna's wearing it – and it's hardly a surprise she's been snapped up to create a line of maternity clothes. Her capsule collection for US label A Pea In The Pod will consist of gypsy tops, boho maxidresses and layered tees, and will debut in over the Atlantic on Friday with prices starting at just £25. ‘You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe. And that's the last thing a woman wants to go through,' said Nicole, who is pregnant with her second child. ‘So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes.' Cute.
