This September London Fashion Week is 25 years old and it has never been hotter. Some of the world's most exciting fashion talent has been launched here. So as part of the anniversary celebrations, Warehouse, Grazia and the British Fashion Council joined forces in the nationwide search for the best of a new crop of British fashion talent: the next Galliano, McQueen or McCartney.
Trawling the catwalks of Graduate Fashion Week, from Glasgow to Central St Martins our mission was clear: to find a student whose final collection could make it from the drawing board to the windows of ten flagship Warehouse stores nationwide in three short months, just in time for London Fashion Week's anniversary celebrations in September.
Ta Dah! We are pleased to announce that the winner of this hotly contested prize is Ruth Green, aged 22, who got a 1st in Womenswear Fashion specialising in Knitwear at Ravensbourne College of Design.
Check in with her on her regular blog spot at GraziaDaily.co.uk to see how she is mentored by the Warehouse team. Follow her as she meets the Chinese manufacturers to oversee the production of her line. Share her stage fright as she prepares for the fashion week unveiling. And join her as she basks in her undoubted success.
First up is a glimpse of the judging day featuring Ruth's catwalk collection along with the six other hugely talented contenders...
