Introducing DIY fashion

Knitwear really has thrown off its musty grandma image, hasn't it? First came all the new sexy knitwear designers like Louise Goldin, Mark Fast and Sandra Backlund, then the DIY knitting clubs that cropped up all over the country for women who most certainly weren't part of the W.I, and now, the fashion mecca Net-a-Porter is getting involved too. The team are eagerly clicking knitting needles because of the genius idea from ex model Lisa Sabrier and knit-queen Carolyn Main called Wool and The Gang - which gives you two very snuggly options. The first being that you can buy a fab kit of wool, needles, plus patches and ribbons to create your own accessories for autumn (which is fab because the snood is making a major comeback and we can't afford the Burberry version), or you can opt out of the hard graft of DIY-ing and wait until November when their gorgeous goods created with yarn from the Andean Highlands will be dropping online. Forget Net-a-Porter, its Knit-a-Porter!
