Gisele's disappearing baby bump!

Gisele London Fog

Some famous mums-to-be revel in showing off their growing baby bumps. Think Demi Moore naked on the cover of Vanity Fair, Britney recreating said moment on the cover of Harper's Bazaar and, um, Kerry Katona wearing a crop top on, well, the cover of Closer. But it seems Gisele has no plans to join them. Her latest campaign, for London Fog, sees the supermodel striking a seductive pose an open trench coat – but with no sign of her baby bump. That had been retouched out of the campaign to ‘respect her privacy.' The images also may help explain why Gisele was replaced by Bar Refaeli in the campaign for Rampage, a label also owned by London Fog's parent company Iconix. The tight-fitting jeans were less forgiving than the billowing trench coat. But even if Gisele is not keen on having evidence of her pregnancy in her work, she is still nesting. She's just signed up to host a kids-friendly webisode series GiGi & the Green Team, which will feature an animated version of herself who lives a double life as a supermodel by day, superhero protector of the environment by night. The series will debut on AOL in the autumn. Not quite in time for her bound-to-be gorgeous first baby to see. He/she is due in December. [WWD, Fashionologie]

  • is it just me or is there something v odd-looking about this pic? Where her legs meet the torso, just looks odd... Far enough if she doesn't want to show off her bump, but retouching pictures to get rid of it is sending the wrong message I think.
