Flat shoes are OFFICIALLY fashionable
We're all pretty familiar with the Devil Wears Prada drill by now. No carbs after 12, no jeans, like, ever, and certainly no shoes allowed in or out of the office measuring less than three inches. At least. Imagine our surprise then when US Vogue's Editor in Chief showed up unexpectedly at an event on Saturday in New York wearing something vaguely resembling a pair of slippers on her feet. Where are the towering Pradas and Manolos of old we hear you cry? Well ladies, if Anna Wintour's wearing them, that means we can. So stow away those gel pads for a while; flat shoes just got fashionable again. [FWD]

- Actually I love how Anna Wintour looks here. It makes her look less austere, younger, fresher and just more on trend. Now how can someone approach with regards to updating that hair!
fashionrat - I like how she looks too, there had to be a backlash sometime over these 6 inch heels. I was in pain last night just trying one shoe on in Kurt Geiger. Imagine people stepping out in flats for the evening - that would be amazing.
I do love my heels but I am getting sick of going home early from nights out because I am in too much pain to carry on!
