Kate Moss: coming to a TV screen near you?

kate moss

Brace yourselves, ladies! You're about to be able to see – and hear – Kate Moss live on TV in your living room every weekend! (We're planning a game of ‘gorge' bingo, already). No, we're not talking about those much-bandied-about rumours of Kate joining X Factor as a judge. Instead, Kate has apparently been signed up by Simon Cowell for a new Battle Of The Bands-style reality TV show. She'll be one of a number of people responsible for seeking out a new musical super-group on the new show – the first collaboration between Cowell and Kate's old friend and mentor Sir Philip Green. ‘She's a huge music fan and everyone knows her knack of picking out new trendy bands. It's one of the few areas outside fashion she feels totally confident to speak her mind,' a source told the Mirror newspaper this weekend. And they're right – at least when you think about the string of rock-star men she's attached herself to in the past. Though somehow we reckon the way she'll wear her own Kate Moss for Topshop collection (come on, it's gotta be...) won't go unnoticed either. Tyra, Heidi, eat your hearts out. La Moss is on her way from supermodel to supermogul... [Mirror]

  • What a completely ridiculous idea...why on earth would/should Kate Moss be taken on as a judge of a talent(less) contest...she is more suited to being a judge/host on Britains Next Top Model or the like...something she actually knows something about!!

  • Just wondering if there's going to be a 'casting couch' for those grunge/boy-band types (you know, the no-hoper need a wash - druggie types she goes for)??? Either that, or it's her next (desperate) attempt at getting a recording contract (following her recent semi-kareoke attempts)!!!

  • "Everyone knows her knack of picking out trendy bands?" And this makes her ideal to judge talent does it, being able to read a few underground publications and choose the band of the moment?
I would probably hang on every word this woman says when it comes to fashion but music? Really? Talk about a PR stunt.
